First Timer

I am not real sure how much I will do this, but thought it would be neat to at least start sharing my thoughts. This will be a combo blog of my favorite things in life which are in no particular order: Family, Buckeye football, travel, my life in general. Yes I put "my life in general" in there because I love my life and all the people in it.

As of right now my wife is sixteen weeks and three days pregnant. She just "popped" over the weekend and I think the reaction that both of us had was excitement and the nervousness all young couples must feel. We are both receiving emails on a weekly basis from a neat website called babycenter.com. It's great because the two of us sit down each week and read about what is going on for the week and what kind of development we can expect for the week. It always sparks conversation between Gina and I as to the life change we are going through and what we have to look forward to. All in all Gina and I are ready for the challenge of becoming parents and look forward to all the advice from our friends and family.

I'll venture away from family a bit and talk about my beloved Buckeyes. It's a few weeks after signing day and we landed another "star" class. I really think Tressel is as good as it gets when he sits down with a young man and his family. I am not sure how he does it, but he rarely loses out when he gets the last shot. I am really looking forward to April 25th when the Spring game comes to Ohio Stadium. I think this year the Bucks will bring in about 75 thousand people due to the Pryor effect. Everyone in Buckeye Nation wants to see what this kid will do next. I am one of those people that is interested in this kids progression and how he will handle his life throughout his buckeye career. When Pryors career is through at Ohio State there will not have been a player as well documented as his in the long and storied history of the Buckeyes. Lets hope he can handle that kind of pressure.

Very little travel news this time around. Gina and I are planning a trip to Florida in April to get away and relax before the fun begins. We are going to spend about eight days at her mom and dad's condo in Fort Myers Beach and just eat up some sun.

That is all for now on my first post. I promise I will continue to update everyone on my life as the days go by. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it.

I am glad the pregnancy is going well. We will be looking for pictures of Gina soon!

As for the Buckeyes, even here in Wisconsin people are excited about Pryor. they are nervous about his impact on the Badgers, but they think he is an exciting player!

    Again, Welcome!
